MHAO Receives State Peer Award for Health Reform Education!
Mental Health America of Oregon is excited to announce that we are among the recipients of the 2013 BRSS TACS (Bringing Recovery Supports to Scale – Technical Assistance Center Strategy) State Peer Awards for Health Reform Education!
With the awarded $25,000, MHAO will create a network of peer-led organizations and peer-led recovery community organizations focused on impacting health reform in Oregon. We will provide technical assistance, information, and resources that will enable these statewide organizations to participate in local and state-level health reform activities. We will also contribute to outreach, eligibility determination, and enrollment efforts for Oregonians with mental health and substance abuse recovery needs.
Information about participating will be available soon! We are excited and honored to be working on this project!
We are also now seeking a temporary part-time Project Coordinator. Please visit our Careerspage for further information.
